The Vital Infrastructure of Attachment Trauma
This is a very important paper. If you ever doubted that we need to address early trauma and PTSD by calming the nervous system, those doubts will be eased when you read about the mechanisms at play in the brainstem as a result of eal attachment rupture. I know from experience that the therapy they describe is elegant and useful. I think though that it may require a certain pre existing capacity for self-regulation best provided, at least so far, by neurofeedback.
